Reusable Fieldtypes are introduced in CaseLocker Version 0.7.04.
Managing Reusable Fieldtypes requires the user to be an Organization Administrator.
To create a new reusable fieldtype or manage existing fieldtypes, select "Fieldtypes" in the organization management page.
To create a new fieldtype, select "New Fieldtype" in the top right.
Reusable fieldtypes must have a name, and we strongly recommend utilizing the description field to describe what the fieldtype is to be used for.
Editing these fieldtypes uses the standard Fieldtype Editor, allowing you to create any fieldtype except a list, which can only be set at the question level.
Options, patterns, and any other fieldtype settings are synced wherever they are used.
When editing an existing fieldtype, you can see whether it is used in any template. You can select "See Where" to view the templates, section, and question this fieldtype is used in.
Reusable Fieldtypes cannot be deleted. If a fieldtype is not used in any template, you can contact CaseLocker support to request a deletion of the fieldtype.
